Summary: Overall the location is great and the hotel is charming and well designed. The room wasn’t ready at check in, so we were disappointed to then find it run down and dirty (walls, rug, furniture). We paid a lot extra for an ocean view, but our view was only of power lines and construction (which we could also hear). Noise was an issue, walls are very thin and housekeeping woke us up in the room next door early in the morning vacuuming and banging around and we could clearly hear the guests in the surrounding rooms and at the bar. Most of the staff members were good, but one kind of soured our experience. The food was not great at breakfast either day. Overall not worth the price point
